LITTLE ROCK, ARK
This May, I returned to Arkansas and got to perform at the the Little Rock Film Festival. The "Another Day" video was a finalist in the video showcase (Thank you, Hans, for entering it in the festvial...!). The videos were screend to a live audience, followed by a performance by each band. I performed with Ben Harris, Jay Gentry, and Dave Hoffpauir. Here we are rehearsing the day of the show in Dave's rehearsal space.
JACKSON, MS
On April 17, a few of us gathered at the Performing Arts Center in Belhaven College to perform and honor the life and work of Eudora Welty. We sang and played on each other's songs. We had so much fun that we will probably do this again in the fall. Stay tuned for more.
SIERRA MADRE, CA
Once a month, I perform with the Song Sirens at Cafe 322 in a little mountain town just north of Los Angeles. I love these women! (gia, nicole, kristin, and bliss) Someone asked at our last gig if we went to high school and college together. No, we didn't; we just like singing together and gabbing. Kristin says it's like the book club without the book. I'll get a better picture in here soon, but here are a few of us sitting in with Lucinda Williams on "Still I long for your Kiss."
